Our esteemed board is composed of a diverse array of working professionals who all contribute toward our important mission of making youth sports accessible for all. All four of "Iron Mike's" children serve on the board with a great passion for continuing his legacy. Our other board members represent valuable personal and professional connections that Mike made over the course of his life and are equally committed to his enduring legacy. Barbara Snyder founded the Iron Mike Youth Sports Foundation in 2021 as a labor of love to honor the memory of her late husband, Michael Snyder. Barbara started her career as a psychotherapist in Philadelphia and Princeton, NJ. After taking a hiatus to raise 4 children with Michael in Princeton, NJ, Barbara returned to the workforce. She became familiar with the nonprofit space after working with several organizations that focused on creating educational opportunities for students from low-income families and leadership and empowerment for young women.
The creation of the Iron Mike Youth Sports Foundation was a natural outgrowth of her desire to honor Michael’s legacy and her passion for nonprofit work. Barbara holds a BA degree in Psychology from Duke University and a MS degree in Counseling from Hahnemann Medical College. She is certified as a Grief Educator and a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher.

Ian Snyder joined the Latin American Corporate Research team at JP Morgan in March 2023 and is the lead analyst for the Metals & Mining, Pulp & Paper, and Transportation sectors. Previously, Ian worked on the North American Corporate Credit Research team (also at JP Morgan) covering the High Yield Commercial Real Estate, Investment Grade REIT, and Investment Grade/High Yield Transportation (Aviation, Rail, Freight, Shipping) sectors.
Ian served on the Board of Trustees of the D&R Greenway Land Trust, serving on the Land Stewardship and Investments Committees. Ian is also Board Member of the Iron Mike Youth Sports Foundation, serving on the Fundraising, Grant Outreach and Governance & Nominating Committees. Ian holds a B.A. in Public Policy from Duke University.

Cole Snyder works at Wells Fargo’s Investment Bank in the North American Financial Institutions Group, covering the asset management, specialty finance, insurance and tech-enabled business services sectors. Cole previously served as President and Head of Fundraising for the Forsyth County branch of Hydrating Humanitate.
Cole is also Board Member of the Iron Mike Youth Sports Foundation, serving on the Fundraising, Grant Outreach and Governance & Nominating Committees. Cole holds a B.S. in Finance from Wake Forest University, graduating summa cum laude.

Julia Snyder started her career at Kepler, a digital marketing agency based in New York City. She is now a Client Solutions Manager on the American Express consumer team. The daughter of “Iron Mike”, Julia spent many years involved in a variety of youth sports and continues to have a passion for the transformative nature of playing on a team. Julia holds a B.A. in sociology from Wake Forest University.

Erik Snyder is a Senior Director of Global Talent Acquisition at Stagwell, a digital-first global marketing network that delivers scalable, seamless solutions through a unique combination of culture-moving creativity and leading-edge technology. He also runs a career counseling service across the US. Erik sits on the Fundraising and the Grant Policy and Oversight committees as a board member. He also holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Rochester.

Ernie Barsamian is a long time friend of the Snyder family connected from youth sports in Princeton and the Princeton School system. Ernie is a retired oil executive from Hess Corporation and presently runs a small family business servicing the oil and chemical storage industry. Ernie and Mike Snyder were instrumental in rebuilding the PAWS youth wrestling program as coaches and administrators. The program is presently acknowledged as one of the premier youth wrestling programs in the state of NJ.
Ernie and his wife Jeanine have 3 children who all participated in youth, high school and college athletics. Ernie continues to coach wrestling at the youth level and is a board member of the Delaware River Wrestling League and the Wrestlers in Business Network. Ernie’s hobbies include vegetable gardening, investing, physical fitness and spending time with family and friends.

Frank Cornely grew up in South Jersey playing every sport imaginable, whether organized or pickup games in the street. Sports were an integral part of his childhood. Wrestling became his sole passion and commitment in high school at Camden Catholic. He was recruited to continue his career at Duke University. Upon graduation, his first job was in Charlotte, North Carolina, on the high yield trading desk. Two years later he met his wife Jenna, and they now have five children.
Mike Snyder was a close friend of Frank’s, both personally and professionally. His son Ian and Frank remain good friends to this day. Sports gave him amazing opportunities and opened doors for him that otherwise would have been closed. His family, career, and life were all an offshoot of pursuing wrestling at high levels. His wife Jenna and their five children, Isabel, Neil, Caleb, Andi, and Charley, still reside in Charlotte. Frank currently works at US Bank as a Director on the high yield trading desk.
Frank Cornely
Tyler Deane-Krantz is a managing partner in three businesses: Kent Street, an independent sponsor in the infrastructure and industrial sector, Paws Up, a multi-site pet services platform, and Halo Recruiting, an overseas recruiting agency. Tyler began his career as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs focused on consumer retail. Tyler grew up in New York, NY and graduated from Duke University. In addition to his work with Iron Mike, he serves on the Board of the West Side YMCA in New York City.

Beth Golden Frieder is a retired attorney specializing in Corporate Reorganization and Bankruptcy Law with an extensive practice in Pennsylvania. A graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law in 1986, Beth also continued her legal practice in recent years representing the city of Philadelphia and The Register of Wills pursue property from people who pass away intestate.
Beth is an active member of her community and involved in various philanthropic endeavors. She serves on the Board of the Jewish Agency for Israel North America, where she contributes to strengthening the Jewish community and fostering connections between Jewish people worldwide.
Beth and her family have a personal connection to the transformative power of youth sports. With three daughters who participated in youth sports and continued through high school and college, Beth witnessed firsthand the positive impact sports can have on young people. This experience has fueled her passion for supporting the Iron Mike Youth Sports Foundation, whose mission aligns with the values she and her husband instilled in their children. Beth is committed to helping the foundation extend these values to its recipients, ensuring that more young people can benefit from the opportunities and life lessons that sports provide.
Beth Golden Frieder
Amanda Lamb is a veteran television reporter who spent nearly three decades covering the crime beat for a NBC affiliate in the southeast. She also hosted and co-produced three true crime podcasts and a daily news podcast. Currently, she hosts and produces "Ageless: Opening Doors with Amanda Lamb" about women transforming their lives after 50. Amanda has published 12 books including true crimes, memoirs, mysteries and children's books. Her company, Stage Might Communications, helps people with anything related to media.
She is a public speaker and a regular guest on national network true crime shows, as well as podcasts. Amanda is the married mother of two adult daughters and a fitness enthusiast. She volunteers her time on regular basis with multiple nonprofits including the iron Mike Youth Sports Foundation. She attended Duke University with both Mike and Barbara Snyder and has great love for their family and this mission.

Mark McLaughlin, MD, FACS, FAANS is a practicing board-certified neurosurgeon, a national media commentator, author of the book Cognitive Dominance: A Brain Surgeon’s Quest to Out-Think Fear, and acclaimed keynote speaker.
His interests extend beyond medicine and speaking engagements. McLaughlin coaches youth wrestling and he co-founded and funded Trenton Youth Wrestling, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing inner city boys and girls with skills gained through wrestling and working with mentors.
A former NCAA Division I wrestler, McLaughlin was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2016. He remains active in the wrestling world and is in his seventeenth year coaching with the Princeton Wrestling Club and in his fifth year of the Trenton Youth Wrestling organization.
